Special greetings, then, to Gerard Sweeney for inflicting the Ed Virus upon us all (I'm not a virus! Ed.), to Andy Cadley 'cos he's at the same university as me, but most of all to Caroline, my girlfriend who may never get to even read this. Anyway, seeing as I'm writing this bit before writing the actual game, I'd best stop and get on with some programming. (Thank god for that! Ed.) Toodle pip, Andy.

1 .Hello and welcome, one and all, to RSG, one of my entries to the 1999 comp.sys.sinclair Crap Game Competition. What does RSG stand for? Well, its full name has long since been defunct (In other words, you couldn't spell it. Ed.) but I can reveal that it does in fact mean 'Really Smart Game'. To be read as sarcastically as possible of course. Y'see, I originally wrote this game for the Acorn, way back in 1994"

1 " The screen will show you threethings; your HP (hit points) your MP (magic points) and also your enemy's HP. The aim of thegame is the wanton killing of all the Mister Baddie Men, of which there are 20."
1 " The idea of this game is very simple. After all, it only tookme about three hours to write so it can't be that complicated."
1 " Magic always damages Mister Baddie Man, and can be more
1 powerful than a normal attack, but it uses MP. Normal attacks usually do less damage (and can do none at all)."
